When I choose locations for senior sessions, there are a few key things that I look for. One of them is public access and parking. There are many beautiful places in Michigan on private property, or places that don’t have adequate parking. Grand Ravines North has plenty of parking and is open to the public, making it a great choice.
When choosing a park for senior pictures, variety is another thing that needs to be factored in. Most parks have trees and grass. But, it is nice when a park has more options. At Grand Ravines North Park, there are a lot of different options to photograph a high school senior in. There are beautiful grassy fields, dense woods, boardwalks and railings, a covered bridge, wildflowers, and it is all right on the Grand River.
This park boasts beautiful lush trees in the spring and summer. It is full of colorful wildflowers in the summer, and has gorgeous fall colors in the autumn. All of these things together make for a beautiful park setting where you can get a wide variety of looks on your senior picture session no matter what time of year you choose.
