If you are looking for a fun country park to have your senior pictures taken at, look no further than Grand Ravines South Park.  As mentioned, when choosing a location, I like to look for a place that has variety.  This park has some great photographic options which include an old wooden rustic barn that is original to the property, some great fields that produce wildflowers during the right time of year, a little bit of woods, and a very cool suspension bridge.  

The thing that is great about the Grand Ravines South Park is that it is a public park. There is a large parking lot, and a public restroom. This make your session much easier.  No trying to find parking that is non-existent, and the public restroom makes changing your outfits a breeze.  Sometimes that random field/barn on the side of the road does not offer these amenities, not to mention trespassing on private property.  

Did you know that the Ottawa County parks system requires a photographers permit to photograph at their parks?  Rest assured Kari Douma Photography has everything in place.  As a professional, I make sure to abide by the rules of where I am photographing.
